The second feature is Mario Bava’s recently restored film, “Cani arrabbiati” otherwise known as “Kidnapped” or “Rabid Dogs.” It centers on a group of thieves and their hostages as they try to find a safe place to hide from the police until the heat blows over.
Hot, angry, sweaty and uncomfortable, this was one of Bava’s last films.
